About this Event

This workshop will focus on the actor who is seriously pursuing booking guest star, co star and lead roles in film and television. Participants will be able to utilize their knowledge, past experience and learning and practice gained from past training and workshops. We will build on what you know.

Jeff will provide the context and process you as an actor can expect to experience when pursuing this work. The fewer the surprises, the better an actor can focus on the work they need to bring into the casting director’s office, or recording on self-tape or in virtual callbacks. And importantly, once the job is booked, this workshop will help the actor know what to expect from arrival on set, to signing out after a successful day/shoot. And most of all, be able to perform at the most enjoyable, genuine, creative and personal best level.

So, Jeff will help the actor improve their odds getting on the casting director’s “top five” producer recommendation list. And, Jeff will help the actor bring their best preparation and performance to and on set.

Live on camera work will be an integral part of the workshop.  Sides will be provided in advance to each participant based upon their headshot and brief background, which will be reviewed before the session. In addition, three specific film scenes will be shared during our time together with examples of how the audition, callback, booking and production process and final print actually occurred.

Jeff will provide feedback and positive adjustments to each participant for their on camera work on their respective side. Everyone will be able to enjoy watching each other’s work, in a fun and collegial atmosphere. And, together we will gain tools that will help improve securing the role and optimizing performance, so be prepared!

*Workshop runs 3:00-7:30 for a total of 4 hours or class time with a small break 5:00-5:30*
