About this Event
This workshop will offer on-camera time for each actor. We learn through experience and observation. Participants will work with a process for audition preparation that our instructor has found successful in order to feel more confident on camera, and have a specific, focused audition, with the goal of booking more jobs.
Janet will guide actors into observing the power of stillness and specificity of focus on camera. See how your active listening can change what a director sees in you. Make sure you’re telling the story.
There are very few things actors control in this business, so learn to let go of what you cannot control and focus on the only thing you have control over…YOU.
Know that you can give a solid audition for whatever role someone hands you.
Session one will focus on mastering the one scene/one line auditions by employing Janet’s approach to truly understanding the scene and creating a powerful audition.
