Chekhov’s own students included Marilyn Monroe, Anthony Quinn, Clint Eastwood, Dorothy Dandridge, Mala Powers, Yul Brynner, Jack Palance, Elia Kazan, Paula Strasberg, and Lloyd and Dorothy Bridges among many others. He received an
Academy Award nomination for his role in Alfred Hitchcock’s Spellbound.
